It seems I'm going to get to posting about once a month. I'm falling into that pattern. George is off in Europe again. Milan for one week and then Germany for 2 weeks. He left on Saturday. Everything has turned so beautiful over here. We are finally having nice weather. Our grass is green, we've done our spring yard cleaning, bunnies abound in our yard, we had Mother's day, and I've planted some of my garden. I wanted George to build me those raised beds and put them on our yard, but George is always hesitant to give up any grass. So, we gave a few bushes to our neighbors and I have a garden spot in the landscaped areas. It's not as big as I would like but I have something to grow a few things. I started seeds this year on heated growing trays. I have to say I had mixed results with getting them to transplant. This has worked exceptionally well for tomatoes, but not so well for other plants. It also worked well for snow peas. The basil, beets, and most other things just didn't hold up well to transplanting. The initial sprouts are just to flimsy. I'm just going to sow the seeds directly. They should still have plenty of time to grow. I'm trying a bunch of different things: cilantro, basil (3 kinds), sage, parsley, oregano, tomatoes (3kinds), lettuce (3 kinds), brussel sprouts, carrots, radishes, turnips, snow peas, beets, peppers (bell, hot, poblano), and I'm sure I'm forgetting something else. :-) I'll follow up with pictures.
I finally got a wheat grinder. Lois (Serene's mom) coordinated a group purchase from Emergency Essentials, so we got it pretty cheap.
I lost about 6 pounds in my first month of dieting. Not nearly as much as I wanted to lose. I also bought an elliptical from my friend and put it right in front of the TV. It should be easy for me to get my workout in every day now.
Our special occasions in May:
Kyle and Serene had their anniversary on the 5th. We are so glad they found each other. What a cute couple they make. And, we inherited Serene's wonderul family. I just miss my little Brigham. He's getting so big and crawling. I love this picture, so I have to re-post it:

Abby had a birthday on th 7th. She is such a blessing and we are so lucky that Clint found such a wonderful wife. I'm sure Abby will not like this picture either, I had to crop it out of a Christmas picture. We love you Abby...

Bridger turns 6 years old on the 28th. It's amazing how fast he is growing. He is so darn cute and we hope he has the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER! I stole this picture off Lisa's blog when Bridger was in trouble at school. Hopefully no more of that happens.

Other occasions:
Bonnie and Tom have an anniversary this month on the 29th. Melanie had a Birthday on the 10th, and Sundance on the 21st.
