Our little Brigham..

Kyle and Serene came to Denver over Memorial Day weekend to visit with her family. Oh it was so nice to have them here, especially when George was out of town. The house seems empty when he leaves, so it was great to have some company. I had someone else to talk to besides the cat.. LOL But, George was exceedingly sad that he didn't get to spend some time with them. Well this trip I decided that I MUST get some baby stuff for the house. I need a portable crib, high chair, and toys. I bought a toy while they were here that has lots of buttons, sounds and music, and Brigham loved that. I just have to get to work.. :-) Brigham has also just learned to open cabinets. I guess I better get some locks for the cabinet doors. So, I'm going to treat you with some Brigham pictures. Kyle and Serene don't have Internet so they don't get to update the blog too often. His fine motor skills are really amazing. He can figure out about anything. He's waving bye bye, and he is crawling really well. While he was here he went up a couple of stairs all by himself. Of course, with me standing right behind him with my hands just above his back. Scary... He loved the dishwasher and we spent a lot of time on the rug in the kitchen. He loved the mashed sweet potatoes I made him, and he's eating a lot of different foods. He likes when you make any funny noise and it will make him smile. He will giggle and then make the noise back to you.

He was scared of my camera at first. It makes a loud clicking noise when it takes a picture and then there's the flash. His look was so funny. Here is the camera shock look... Here is after we got over the camera shock..

And then the house was REALLY quiet after they left, but we'll just be waiting for the next happy visit.. :-)
