Our Vacation was so nice. I had almost forgotten what it is like to have no cell phone and no computer. No work responsibility at all for 10 days. George even added on three more, so 13 days for him. WOW that's a stress reliever. Of course then we came back to Christmas planning and a backlog of work. And I brought home a stomach bug for a memento. But, it was still a great vacation. Our hotel was the Iberostar Grand and it's an all inclusive, adults only hotel. Very quiet, I think it was only about 50% full. Our room was right on the beach and it was so nice to go sit on our patio.
I had lobster almost every day. The restaurants were really great and the place was really lavish. I did find out that I'm not very good at sitting around with nothing to do... Ha ha. Our beach was kind of rocky and there was only one small section without rocks.
It was very rough seas while we were there, and the swimming pool was too cold. So, we didn't spend that much time in the water. George did love to go play in the waves, but it was a bit too rough for me.
The hot tub was a daily stop for us and it seemed to be the afternoon gathering spot for the fun crowd. Here's a picture of us going to dinner. We were in the lobby of our building and the wind was blowing straight through from the ocean... As you can see we got some sun. We both had to go to the tanning bed for a while before we left.

Here is a picture of one of our beautiful sunsets.
I'll add more later as I collect all the pics from our other computer and get the waterproof cameras developed.
